Anti-bullying campaign
Year 7B worked on a story about bullying on their English course book. They had an interesting discussion about the topic. A group of them also prepared activities for an "Anti-bullying Campaign" with children at Year 1. They showed them the story "Howard Wigglebottom learns about bullies", led a reflection on it and gave them a written activity in English, Portuguese and Spanish. CLE exams
Students at our school have been sitting for the Portuguese CLE exams for many years with excellent results. This year, for the first time, seventeen students from Years 6 and 7 also sat for the English CLE CIPI exam with excellent results too!! Congratulations!!!
Book Club
Year 6 and Year 7 are working on literary texts both in Portuguese and English. Year 6 is working on Robin Hood. Year 7 is working on The Diary of Anna Frank.
In this game, two classes have a conference call and have to guess each other's location through yes/no questions. Year 7B and 6B have already played and learned a lot with this experience. Here's a video -starred, recorded and edited by Year 7B students- and some photographs:
